Success! Wooo Dog!

Curious thing we did last night. First, the meeting at the Logan Square monument seemed like some sort of tribal gathering. It was impressive to me that so many people organized something on the internet, and then low and behold, folks showed up, we passed out stickers, and then exploded all over the city. I didn't know any of those people, I'd never seen them before, but it all worked easy, like apple butter.

As for the stickering itself, it went surprisingly easy. We were never stopped, never hassled. Even when we stayed in one spot for an hour to conquer an entire metered parking lot, nobody came around. All I know now is that we need more stickers.

And since we've been worried about the City not being so keen on this little public service effort, hows this for interesting. Dave R from Bike Hugger posted this up in December of last year. Apparently, the city of Seattle is so serious about eliminating the "door prize" that they've created their own signs that now appear about the city. A variation of this sign might be appropriate if we can, in the future, get away with a simpler image.
